The CSSAN Research Observatory for Cultural Studies, Society, and Alternative Narratives and the Amergin Institute of Irish Studies presented the third edition of the Conference on Technocultures in collaboration with Intergames: Incorporating Interdisciplinarity in Secondary School Education Using Conflict Video Games and Region and Nation Literature Association (RNLA) .
This edition took place on 9-10 April 2026.
As a consequence of the recent rise of transmedia horror, this event focused on both the relevance and impact of the genre and its diverse representations on humanity’s lifeline. Thus, we enter a new gothic era embellished by cyberculture’s spiderweb, which motivates the reinterpretation of classics and the creation of new ones.
