On the occasion of the nomination of Boaventura de Sousa Santos as Honorary Degree by the University of A Coruña in 2018, we organized a bibliographical exhibition in the library and we produced a guide with the author´s bibliography.

Previously, Professor De Sousa joined in a series of conferences entitled "A Possible Public Universidade" that the University of A Coruña organized to commemorate its 25th anniversary. His intervention, "As epistemoloxías do Sur and Universidade do futuro",  took place in the Faculty of Sociology in April 2015 before a crowded auditorium, and on that occasion the library also promoted its work with a Interest Book Display.
