Journals, along with books, form the backbone of the library collection. At the BUDC you have an important number of electronic journals and also a collection of paper journals. Remember that if you want to consult the journals we have subscribed to from outside the UDC you must first authenticate.
Crunia has a specific section so that you can consult the journals by thematic categories or by title or ISSN.
If you are not looking for a specific title and what you want is to search for journals of a specific subject browse through the subject categories.
If you are interested in a specific title then search for the journal by title or ISSN.
If we have it in paper in any library of the UDC you will find information about the library that receives that journal and the issues it has. Also if it is open (still received) or closed (no longer received).
If we have it subscribed in electronic format or it is open access you will also find one or more links to the pages of the providers/institutions where you can consult the full text.
The complete collection of print journals in this library is open access and you can find in the Serials Library (Hemeroteca).
The journals are arranged alphabetically by title. To help you locate them, you will find a list in each module and the journal cover on each shelf.
The latest numbers we recieved of each title are on a display you will find at the entrance to the library.
Journals are not lent out, but we can lend them to you on the same day if you need to photocopy an article.
In case the journal you are interested in is not in the collection of this library but in another UDC library, please contact us so that we can request the scanned article to that library.
