Natalia Umpiérrez Suárez

She holds a degree in Journalism from the University of Santiago de Compostela and a Master's Degree in Teaching (specializing in Languages and Literatures) from the same university. In addition, she has a Master's degree MELSLE (Spanish Second Language - Foreign Language) obtained at the Universidade do Minho (Portugal). Her final master's thesis, which is included on the official website of FEDELE, is about the design of cultural programs offered by Spanish immersion courses from a teaching perspective, focusing on learning outside the classroom.

In addition, she is also an official DELE examiner and was a member of the organizing committee of the XXIX ASELE Congress hosted by Cursos Internacionales de la USC in 2018. In this entity she worked with numerous groups of international students, mainly designing and executing cultural dynamization activities. Similar work was performed in Campus Spain for the student body of the LCA Spanish courses of the Centro de Lenguas de Vigo.

Concerning abroad experience, it is worth mentioning her work in the Resource Center of the Ministry of Education of the Spanish Embassy in Portugal, where she was in charge of the dynamization of groups of Spanish students in schools in the country, as well as the coordination and writing of contents in official publications.
