Working at the UDC

The University of A Coruña was established in 1989. It is a public institution whose essential purpose is the generation, management, and dissemination of culture and scientific, technological, and professional knowledge through teaching and the development of basic and applied research contributing to scientific, technological, economic, and social progress. It is a modern, innovative, and dynamic institution strongly committed to the comprehensive education of its students: a wide and solid academic offer is complemented by specific cultural, cooperation, equality, leisure, and sports programs, among others.

It is structured into two campuses: Coruña and Ferrol, each offering different degrees, located in two wonderful seaside cities.

The University of A Coruña considers internationalization a priority. Through various international programs offered, the international mobility of the university community is promoted as an academic experience, complemented by the growing presence of international students on our campuses. Over 500 international students and researchers visit UDC annually, creating a plural and open international environment, enriched with our culture and language. Furthermore, UDC is immersed in the process of implementing a stable offer of courses and subjects offered in English, a multilingual offer that increases the attractiveness of our university for foreign students and professors and represents an added curricular value for UDC students. UDC promotes collaboration with other institutions to offer joint degrees and double international degrees, both with countries in the EHEA space and with other strategic areas.
