OTM-R Policy

The University of A Coruña is firmly committed to the principles of open, transparent and merit-based recruitment OTM-R, recommended by the European Commission. 

It should be noted that at the UDC there are different access routes to teaching and research work.

For the rest of the research and administration&management staff that are temporarily hired there are specific regulations elaborated by the University.

The current regulation about research staff selection was implemented on 2024, but due to deep changes in national regulations it is under review at this moment, and it will be published on the website and soon as it will be approved.

In addition to these regulations, the UDC prepared a Guide of Good Practice in Recruiting research professionals to be consulted  by those involved in personnel selection and hiring tasks. Theses guidelines are completely aligned with the OTM-R principles:
