Luis Sergio Santos Nunes

Graduated in Chemistry from the Federal University of Bahia, Salvador (Universidade Federal da Bahia - UFBA, 1991). Specialised on development of field monitors for atmospheric compounds at Johann Wolfgang Goethe-Universität, Frankfurt am Main (1994), MSc in Analytical Chemistry (UFBA, 1995) and PhD in Analytical Chemistry (UFBA, 2000). Adjunct professor at Bahia School of Medicine and Public Health (EBMSP) and assistant professor at Faculdade de Tecnologia e Ciências (FTC), Salvador. Has been working on environmental chemistry and trace analysis.  In recent years has been dedicated to measure organic compound concentrations in the air, to study the use of biofuels to reduce air pollution and to evaluate the health risks for workers in the ambient of petrol stations.
