Graduated in Biological Science from the Catholic University of Salvador (Universidade Católica do Salvador - UCSAL). MSc in Ecology and Biomonitoring and PhD in Environmental Chemistry from the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA). Adjunct Professor at Bahia School of Medicine and Public Health (EBMSP), leader of the Tutorial Education Program (PET) of the Ministry of Education, advisor to the Ethic's Committee on the Use of Animals (CEUA), head of the Biological Sciences Research Group of EBMSP, Supervisor of the Health and Quality of Life Group focusing on disabled people. In recent years has been dedicated to Ecology and Health studies, Environmental Pollution, Water Analysis and Treatment, Environmental and Product Evaluation, Ecological Flow, Ecotoxicological Tests and Environmental Impact.
