Justyna Kleszcz

Justyna Kleszcz is a practicing architect and associate professor at Department of Architecture and Urban Planning, Opole University of Technology and holds a contract of mandate at Faculty of Architecture and Design, University of the Arts Poznan. In the years 2015-2021 she worked as an assistant professor for research and education at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Environmental Engineering, University of Zielona Góra.

21.09.2022 she obtained the post-doctoral degree of doctor habilitated in the field of engineering and technology, discipline of architecture and urban planning at the Cracow University of Technology (scientific achievement „Bio-polis. The vision of non-anthropocentric city”). She holds a title of doctor of technical sciences from 15.10.2014, with the doctor’s thesis „Animal therapy in urban space. The coexistence of humans and animals" and MA, both in Architecture and Urban Planning at the Faculty of Architecture, Wroclaw University of Technology.

Since 2013 she cooperates with Pracownia B2 design office in Wrocław and in the years 2011-2015 she worked as an architect in Group-Arch sp. z o.o., AA Studio and earlier in PAG Pracownia Architetury Głowacki, Wrocław.

Her scientific interests base upon non-anthropocentric design and new trends in biophilic urban design.
