Kyriaki Tsilika

Dr. Kyriaki Tsilika holds a Ph.D. degree in Applied Mathematics from the Faculty of Engineering  of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. Her current research interests are focused on Computational Economics, Data visualization, Information visualization, Graph Theory, Computational Mathematics, and Computational Statistics. Dr. Tsilika`s research findings have
appeared in several national and international peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings (Web of Science ResearcherID: E-2117-2018). She has participated in and presented articles at many National and International Conferences on subjects concerning computational-based research practice and education. She has presented her research work in EU DataViz 2019, organized by the Publications Office of the European Union in Luxembourg. She has contributed to the Pint of Science festival introducing data visualization to the general public in Volos Greece in 2019. Her teaching philosophy reflects her interest in computer-based learning. She stands in favor of teaching with the incorporation of new informatics and communication technologies in educational activities. She currently serves as an Associate Professor at the Department of Economics, University of Thessaly in Greece, and as adjunct faculty at Hellenic Open University.
