Dr. Hamzeh Awad, 41 year old Jordanian citizen with UAE Golden Visa. Completed his PhD at the age of 30 years from School of Medicine, Institute of Rehabilitation and Health Informatics at the University of Munich (LMU), Germany and worked in Higher Education and Applied Research, Healthcare ecosystem, health informatics and digital health, Public Health, Planning and Development, Outcome Measurement, Healthcare management, Disability, Rehabilitation, Diabetes and eHealth research in different countries such as Germany, Saudi Arabia, Belgium, Jordan, UK and UAE.

Further he was appointed as a research team member in Oxford, UK as well as Researcher at WHO center in Munich and research Scientist at University Hospital of Technical University of Dresden, Germany.

Dr. Awad was appointed as Assistant Prof. at King Saud University in Riyadh, and Research and Clinical Programs Development Manager at Prince Sultan Rehabilitation City, KSA as well as Senior Consultant of Smart Electronic Health Application (SEHA-ePoint) Jordan and Belgium. Currently is a faculty of Health Science College at HCT and Health Informatics Research Chair at Higher College of Technology (HCT), in Abu Dhabi.

Dr. Awad, performed his higher education in the UK and Germany and has 10 years of academic and industry experience post PhD, worked at different academic institutions with more than 15 teaching preferences in health science with emphasis of health informatics, digital health, ehealth and health information technology.

He has several publications in Scopus and ISI journals and keynote speaker in several international conferences related to his field. He has several international collaborations with different research and consultant groups in Healthcare sector.

Dr. Awad proves his excellence in providing leadership for development, implementation and evaluation of comprehensive educational programs in health science.

Excels in facilitating/coaching health care providers as well as students by using interactive discussions and practical approach along with seminars, training & discussion sessions in Health Science, Public Health and Rehabilitation.

Dr. Awad, recently was awarded Outstanding Digital teacher certification from Blackboard, USA for online and hybrid teaching and fellowship with HEA-UK.
