Structure and organisation

The regulations for the creation of the UDC´s Network of R&D+i Centres and Units (approved by the Governing Council on  December 20, 2022) establish the structures of its governing bodies and the functions of each of them in order to ensure the proper functioning of the network. REDCIDi was created to respond to the objectives set out in the UDC's Strategyc Pan for the period 2022-2026 (especially in Strategic Area 02. Research and Transfer), and is comprised of the following bodies:

The Governing Commission is the highest representative body of REDCIDi. Its designated competencies include appointing the Strategic Direction of the network, approving the Action Plan and the Annual Activity Report. This body is composed of:

  • The Rector of the University, who will hold the presidency. 
  • The Vice-Rector for Research and Transfer.
  • The Vice-Rector for Economy and Strategic Planning.
  • Manager. 
  • The strategic direction of the Network. 
  • A person from the Network's Technical Management Unit who will act as secretary with voice but without vote.

The director of REDCIDi is responsible of representing the network in front of the rest of institutions and establish actions that allow the fulfillment of the annual action plan approved by the Governing Commission.

To this aim, It direct and coordinate the research and innovation actions of the R&D centers and units that integrate the Network, respecting always the  independence and functional capacityof each of them.

A Unidade Técnica de Xestión depende do Vicerreitorado de Investigación e Transferencia e actúa baixo as directrices da dirección estratéxica. As súas funcións céntranse en dar soporte ás necesidades dos centros de investigación e as accións definidas nos plans da Rede.

A Comisión Asesora Externa ten como función  asesorar en ámbitos temáticos de I+D+i e propoñer accións. Os seus integrantes estarán formados por persoas con experiencia en xestión de centros de investigación de fóra da UDC e un representante de cada unha das comisións asesoras externas dos centros e unidades que integren á Rede. Debido á recente creación da unidade, atópase en proceso de creación e selección dos seus integrantes.

O obxetivo da creación do Comité de Asesoramento Empresarial consiste en asesorar en materia de transferencia a REDCIDi. Estará integrado por empresas que colaboren activamente coa UDC. Debido á recente creación da unidade, atópase en proceso de creación e selección dos seus integrantes.
