The partnership of the SEALabHaus project brings together a wide range of partners and stakeholders from five regions (IE / FR / GAL / PT / CAN). Its creation will facilitate transnational cooperation to address common challenges across borders. It includes wa representation of continental and insular territories that will provide an enriching field of analysis with different perspectives, supporting the exchange of experiences with other countries across the Atlantic. The cooperation of the four countries that make up the partnership is necessary to take up the challenge of creating a transnational community and tools to innovate the value chain of tourism and blue culture in the Atlantic Area regions and to transform, revitalise and enhance
the coastal tourism ecosystem in balance with the sea, its architecture and its culture, as a key factor of resilience, well-being and sustainability.
SEALabHaus is conceived as a community for innovation, research, dissemination and peer learning, in which the university partners are referents in terms of applied research on the different themes to be worked on (Blue Tourism, Art & Culture, Architecture, Sea & Sustainability, Professionalisation & Training), including the cross-cutting priorities of inclusion and digitalisation.
The local and regional public administrations involved will share studies, experiences and good practices and will collaborate in the diagnosis and advanced mechanisms and roadmap for their transfer to the participating communities. Social economy entities and SMEs will promote inclusion, entrepreneurship and/or other initiatives related to blue tourism and maritime CCIs.
The University of Coruña (UDC, 1989) is a public institution with a core objective of cultivating, managing and disseminating scientific, technological and professional knowledge through research and teaching. The UDC is located in Galicia, a region with a direct connection to the Atlantic Ocean that has served as a base for numerous social activities within the community. This human impact on the landscape has resulted in the creation of cultural artefacts that collectively constitute a maritime heritage. The SEALabHaus project team within the UDC is focused on researching the fields of architecture and blue tourism with the goal of preserving and enhancing the maritime heritage.
MedAtlantia is a cooperative founded in 2015, made up of a multidisciplinary team of social economy experts specialised in different thematic areas. It provides technical consultancy services in comprehensive project management for social economy entities, covering a wide range of thematic areas, including the circular economy, social inclusion, learning, cooperation, cooperative entrepreneurship and more.

To the east, Meath also borders the Irish Sea along a narrow strip between the rivers Boyne and Delvin, giving it the second shortest coastline of any county. Meath County Council is the local authority for the county. With over 500 staff, MCC has been unrelenting in pursuing new ideas, policies, strategies and solutions in order to ensure improved efficiencies and cost savings are achieved. The Council operates the Local Enterprise Office (LEO) whose specific emphasis is job creation through enterprise.
