European Projects of the Senior University without EU funding.
When these projects have been finished, the University of A Coruña signed cooperation agreements with several partners. Nowadays, there are signed bilateral contracts with Het Perspectief (Gent, Belgium) and Comune di Scandiano (Emilia Romagna, Italy).
The general objectives of the initiatives developed under these bilateral agreements are:
Our Belgian partners are senior students of Spanish language from Het Perspectief (Adult Education Center) of Ghent, which enabled us to carry out various academic activities with an European Bilateral Initiative named "Rosalía de Castro".
The Comune di Scandiano (a municipality from Emilia Romagna, on the north of Italy) joined in 2014. Scandiano has a strong experience on Adult Education on an European dimenssion.
During those academic years, we developed several singular initiatives under these bilateral agreements:
European Workshop "Rosalía de Castro", with the literature as meeting point of the different European cultures.
Blog Obradoiro Europeo "Rosalía de Castro"
En-Red-Versados (On-line Reading Club on Poetry)
From October 2014, in collaboration with our partners from Het Perspectief of Gent, the Senior University started an initiative for using of social participation technologies (social web) to encourage the use of virtual communities through a blog as Virtual Reading Club on Poetry.
