Ani Atsharyan

I am a PhD in Arts, Associate Professor at the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia, and a member of the Designers’ Union of Armenia, working professionally in graphic design, teaching, and scientific research.

I received my Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD degrees in Design and Art Studies from the State Academy of Fine Arts of Armenia.

I have authored around twenty scientific articles, including publications indexed in Scopus, and a methodological manual, contributing to the development of design education.

My professional experience includes working as a graphic designer with UNICEF, the Central Bank of Armenia, as well as in design studios and agencies in Armenia. I regularly participate in national and international exhibitions organized by the Artists’ Union of Armenia and have presented at multiple conferences on design and art. I have conducted creative workshops on design, including Erasmus+ teaching programs in Castelló, Spain, as well as professional sessions in Saint Petersburg and Armenia. I have also completed numerous advanced training programs in design, marketing, and digital skills. Under my supervision, diploma students have received top awards in international competitions.

Through my work, I integrate practical design, research, and pedagogy, emphasizing contemporary design theory, cultural context, and sustainable approaches, while fostering innovation, critical thinking, and creativity in students and the broader design community.
