Anna Szczegielniak is practising architect and lecturer at Department of Architecture and Urban Planning, Opole University of Technology (from 2011). It that time, she published articles in scientific journals (Technical Transactions, Cracow University of Technology, MDPI Buildings or Builder Science) and participated in international scientific conferences (WMCAUS – World Multidisciplinary Civil Engineering Architecture and Urban Planning Symposium 2016 and 2018 and APEGA 2016 – XIII Congreso Internacional de Expresión Gráfica aplicada a la Edificación).
She is a graduate of the Faculty of Architecture at the Wrocław University of Science and Technology. She graduated in 2010 with diploma work "OFFicyny – Revitalization of the Downtown Quarter in Wrocław".
On April 29, 2020, she obtained a PhD degree in technical sciences in the discipline of architecture and urban planning at the Faculty of Architecture of the Wrocław University of Science and Technology. Her doctoral dissertation entitled "Residential microspaces – methods of shaping" was awarded.
Her scientific interests include aspects of housing architecture (innovative housing, contemporary housing, microhouses) and architectural drawing (graphical methods of presenting architecture, plain-air drawing, urban sketching).
She gained her professional experience in architectural studios in Rotterdam: 2007-2008 – Monolab Architects, 2008-2010 DeZwarteHond, 2010-2011 GroupA. Currently, she is associated with ARCH-STUDIO, based in Opole.
