Dr Viorica Condrat is a committed language educator with 10 years of notable performance in the field of language education. She is currently teaching courses in the didactics of the English language and literature at Alecu Russo Balti State University. She obtained her PhD from Ca’Foscari University of Venice, Italy specializing in language education. Her research areas are: 21st century skill development, development of academic writing skills, ICT integration into the process of language education, lesson design, formative assessment, enhancement of learners’ motivation, boosting learners’ media literacy. She continues her professional development by participating in various national and international conferences and trainings organized in Moldova, Italy, Romania, Spain, Germany, USA, and UK. She also runs workshops meant to help language educators improve the quality of their teaching and realize their objectives. Viorica Condrat is an author of about 40 articles, including 3 books, on topics related to current issues in language education, and English discourse analysis.
