The EURAXESS network is a European initiative, backed by the European Commission, aimed at facilitating the mobility and professional development of researchers.

EURAXESS has representation in 40 countries, with over 300 contact points, operating as an information exchange network. Spain has over 100 members, with the University of A Coruña joining in July 2023.

In our service, you can receive personalized advice for researchers from outside Spain interested in joining the UDC in the following areas:

1. Permissions and administrative authorizations for the interested individual and their immediate family (1st degree of consanguinity).
2. Assistance in finding temporary and permanent accommodation.
3. Information on schooling in the case of researchers with children.
4. Handling bureaucratic procedures with state, regional, and local administrations: obtaining NIE (foreigner identification number), SERGAS (Galician Health Service) and European health insurance cards, registering in the municipal census, opening a bank account, etc.
5. Career guidance for partners and/or other family members (1st degree of consanguinity).
