What is it?

The University Smart Card (TUI), issued in collaboration with Banco Santander, is a smart identity card system for all University of A Coruña students, teaching and research staff, and administrative and service personnel.

What does it do?

The University Smart Card is the official form of university identification for all members of the UDC community.

The card is an advanced system of information management and personal identification that provides holders with a form of university identification and access to a range of facilities, technological resources and library services.

Students or staff who discontinue their affiliation with the university are not entitled to hold a University Smart Card.

Who is it for?

Registered students on undergraduate, Master’s, PhD, university-accredited and Senior University courses, following payment of the card issue fee for the academic year in progress.

UDC teaching and research staff.

UDC administrative and service staff.

UDC personnel hired under Chapter VI of the UDC Budget.

 

Conditions of use

The University Smart Card is an advanced system of information management and personal identification that provides holders with a form of university identification and access to a range of facilities and technological resources.

The University Smart Card is personal and non-transferable. Card holders will be responsible for all transactions registered to their card.

Student card holders must be registered on a UDC course and have paid the annual card issue fee.

Students or staff who discontinue their affiliation with the university are not entitled to hold a University Smart Card.
