The United Nations (UN) designates specific years as occasions to celebrate particular events or topics. If these celebrations concern issues that coincide with our faculty's fields of study, we take the opportunity to prepare a 'homespun' commemorative exhibition. If not, we improvise.
It has been years since we began highlighting 11 February, Women and Girls in Science Day, on our calendar. We always commemorate it with a small bibliographic exhibition, which is enriched with new items every year, and with another poster to expand our collection.
As usual, the exhibition is displayed at the entrance of the library. Besides, we have created a sort of virtual version of it and a bibliographic guide, in which you will find a brief synopsis of each book and its bibliographic data.
We hope you like it!
