Exhibitions

The United Nations (UN) designates specific years as occasions to celebrate particular events or topics. If these celebrations concern issues that coincide with our faculty's fields of study, we take the opportunity to prepare a small 'homespun' commemorative exhibition. If not, we improvise.

International Day of Women and Girls in Science

In 2015, UNESCO chose February 11 to celebrate the International Day of Women and Girls in Science. Some years ago, our library decided to join in this celebration. So, since then, we have prepared small bibliographic exhibitions to celebrate that day, with books that reflect the relationship between women and science, focused on the fields related to our faculty.

As usual, the exhibition is displayed at the entrance of the library. Besides, we have created a sort of virtual version of it and a bibliographic guide, in which you will find a brief synopsis of each book and its bibliographic data.

We hope you like it!
